In case you are new or missed this previously, this is a 10 minute spot on whatever *you* want it to be, presented by Dave Shuck. Keep in mind as you are suggesting topics, that they should be short concise topics about a specific feature, code usage, or general technology that could be amply covered in a limited time slot. That said... please add your suggestions in the comments below!

April meeting's 10 minutes on...

Starting this meeting we are going to try a new 10 minute segment where Dave Shuck will cover 10 minutes on any topic related to ColdFusion web development. The idea is that the topic will be chosen by the membership by replies to this entry. For example, if someone replies to this email with "Using INI files for application settings", or "Properly locking shared scope variables", or something along those lines, Dave will look through the entries and pick one to cover for a 10 minute segment in the next monthly meeting. As you make your suggestions, please keep the short time limit in mind!

This is our first attempt at this, so let's give it a go. What topic would you like to spend 10 minutes on.... ?

Please reply to this blog entry with your submissions.

11/14/2006: Next Meeting: November 14, 2006 - 6:30 pm

Please join us for the next monthly meeting of the DFW CFUG! In addition to the news and notes about the happenings in the ColdFusion community, Adrian Moreno will be giving a presentation on porting old legacy procedural code into a Mach-II application.

 Our meeting starts and 6:30pm.
